Literary Development in Media Point

It is neglected or ignored to study the literary development from the angle of media.In fact,to think of the development of literature from the way of media is urgently needed during the age when literature has been developed and changed.In the literary activity,the shadow of media exists everywhere,which becomes a necessary element in the literary creation and development.Thus it is reasonable to name the media as "the fifth element" of literary activities.In the situation of multi-media,literature has two developing tendencies: one is the "fission" trend due to the diversity in the media;the other is the "fusion" trend due to the strong effect of the dominant media.
