Data on healthcare/inhabitant resource were obtainedfrom the Budgets Public on Health Information System (SIOPS). Statistical analyzes were performed in Stata software. The Pairwise Correlation was used to analyze the relationship between ACSCspending and healthcare/inhabitant resource, with p <0.05. The ACSC represented 23.1% of the total hospitalizations. The majority occurred in the female sex (54.2%), in pardos (45.4%) and in the Meio Norte macroregion. Healthcare/inhabitantresource was, on average, US$ 2,019.80 and ACSC spending was US$ 172.17.
