DISEÑO DE UN PROGRAMA DE ESCRITURA A TRAVÉS DEL CURRÍCULUM: OPCIONES TEÓRICAS Y ACCIONES ESTRATÉGICAS

espanolEl creciente interes en el desarrollo de la escritura en la educacion superior ha dado lugar al surgimiento de diversos programas que buscan apoyar a los estudiantes en la dificil tarea de aprender a comunicarse academicamente en el contexto de sus disciplinas. En este marco, el presente articulo da cuenta de las opciones teoricas y de algunas acciones estrategicas consideradas en el diseno de un programa de escritura en el contexto universitario chileno. Se discute la integracion de modelos teoricos de diversa naturaleza, senalando el aporte de cada una de estas lineas para alcanzar el objetivo del programa. Asimismo, se detallan las decisiones estrategicas vinculadas a su creacion y se argumenta su importancia para disenar un programa organico y coherente con las necesidades y los principios de la institucion. El articulo pretende contribuir al ambito del diseno de programas de escritura que puedan responder a las crecientes necesidades de formacion en escritura que enfrentan las universidades en el contexto chileno y latinoamericano. EnglishThe growing interest in the development of writing in tertiary education has led to the emergence of a great diversity of programs which aim to support students in the task of communicating academically within their disciplines. Considering this context, this paper presents some of the theoretical options and strategic actions carried out in order to develop a writing program in Chilean tertiary education. The integration of diverse theoretical approaches is discussed, with focus on the contributions of each theory for the main purposes of the program. In addition, strategic decisions related to the development of the program are described, advancing its relevance for the creation of a writing program that acknowledges the needs and ruling principles of the institution where it emerges, in order to develop an organic relation with it. The paper aims to contribute to the domain of writing programs in Chile and Latin America, proposing a model that could address the growing need of teaching writing tertiary institutions face in these contexts.
