The invention relates to carbon black with a CTAB surface area 100-160 m The carbon blacks are produced in a furnace reactor, wherein 60-90 wt .-% of the carbon black raw material of the reaction zone in the first third and the remaining amount of the carbon black feedstock upstream injected at at least one further point in the reactor and addition of fuel is performed so that when first impact are evaporated on the carbon black raw material 90-100 wt .-% of the fuel and 5 ms before striking the carbon black raw material 80-99 wt .-% of the fuel are evaporated. The blacks can be used in rubber mixtures.
