Structure (100) of a susceptor comprising a layer of conductive material (102) supported on a nonconductive substrate, wherein the conductive layer includes a number of separate segments (108) transparent to microwave energy defining a configuration of interconnected hexagonal loops (110), and a transparent element (116) to microwave energy located substantially centered inside, at least one of the loops, characterized in that at least some of the segments separate transparent to microwave energy comprises lateral segments (112) forming the sides of the hexagonal loops of the series of interconnected hexagonal loops and at least some of the transparent separate segments to microwave energy comprises segments corner (114) forming the corners of the hexagonal loops of the series of interconnected hexagonal loops.
