The Protection of Minorities at the Origins of the Notion of Erga Omnes Obligations

This paper aims at briefly describing the main innovative features of the minorities treaties concluded at the time of the League of the Nations and discussing how they contributed to the emergence in the international legal order of the notion of erga omnes obligations.
