Acid precursor concentrations above the northeastern United States during summer 1987: Three case studies

1990
Two aircraft measured the spatial distribution of SO{sub 2}, H{sub 2}O{sub 2}, O{sub 3}, and NO{sub y} above the northeast United States during summer. The aircraft flew three missions between Columbus, Ohio and Saranac Lake, New York. The sulfur dioxide concentration averaged 1-2 ppbv within the planetary boundary layer (pbl) and 1, except in the lower pbl and near surface SO{sub 2}more » source regions.« less
