Electroweak interference effects in two-jet production at pp colliders

Abstract We study the structure of the W and Z resonance peaks in the di-jet invariant mass distribution in p p collisions, including the interference effects with QCD two-jet production. These QCD-electroweak interference effects substantially alter both the shape of the invariant mass distribution and the event rate and must be included if the W, Z → two-jet rates are to be determined from the measured distribution.
