High-Grade Acute Organ Toxicity as Positive Prognostic Factor in Adjuvant Radiation and Chemotherapy for Locally Advanced Head and Neck Cancer

Our results suggest that normal tissue and tumor tissue behave similarly with respect to radiosensitivity, as high-grade acute organ toxicity was significantly associated with good outcome in adjuvant radiation and chemotherapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
