Research on Spectrum in Tm~(3+)-Doped Tungstate

The Tm3+:BaWO4 single crystals were grown by Czochralski method.Absorption spectra of the crystal have been measured at room temperature.The luminescence at 477.2 nm(1G4→3H6) and 455.5 nm(1D2→3F4) are measured respectively under excitation by 268 nm and 362 nm.In addition,we report the up-converted blue luminescence at 484 nm due to 1G4→1H6 radiation transitions is measured under excitation by 1.06 μm laser radiation from a Nd:YAG.
