Use of Vortex Wind Power Plant in the Climatic Conditions of Middle Volga - Stator Calculation Method

This article estimates the potential of using wind power in Samara Region, and proves promising use of vortex wind power plant (VWPP) in areas with annual average wind speed less than 6 m / s. The present article also provides a semi-empirical method for calculating VWPP which was created in consideration of the Ranque vortex effect theory and the features of hypothesis of the vortex interference in rotational flows.
