Knowledge and awareness about the impact of nurses during Covid-19 outbreak

COVID-19 is a communicable disease caused by a newly discovered virus named ‘coronavirus’ which is rapidly spreading all around the world The coronavirus pandemic is being, with physicians seen because of the frontline soldiers within the war against the disease Doctors and nurses in many countries now face an unprecedented workload in saving lives, with a heightened risk of contagion from coronavirus and with the growing prospect of getting to form difficult medical decisions in terms of allocating the resources and continuing treatment COVID-19 infected people are experiencing mild to moderate respiratory disorder and they are getting recovered without requiring special treatment The main aim of this study is to determine the awareness level of impact of nurses during Covid 19 outbreak A self-structured questionnaire was distributed through google forms link to 129 individuals The questionnaire was studied carefully and answers were marked by the participants The results were collected and analysed using SPSS software version 2 0 Descriptive analysis was done by the Chi-Square test Majority of the study populations were aware of COVID-19 and that they were aware about the density of nurses in India The overall result was positive Most of them were aware about the covid-19 outbreak associated with the impact of nurses 90% of the participants were aware of the outbreak due to coronavirus and statistics of the density of nurses in India Based on this survey, many of the people were aware of the reduction of the density of nurses outbreak due to coronavirus
