Rotylenchus robustus in a Pinus radiata nursery in Victoria

1989
Small patches of Pinus radiata seedlings growing in light, sandy, nursery soils at Rennick in south-western Victoria turned chlorotic; many seedlings were stunted and a few died. Symptoms were associated with a heavy infestation of Rotylenchus robustus in roots and soil. This is believed to be a new record of R. robustus on P. radiata in Australasia.
