Investigation on pesticide residue of Litchi chinensis

Preliminary investigations of some litchi orchards in Guangdong province showed that,Litchi chinensis fruit produced by conventional way had contained Dicofol technical,Cypermethrin and Methamidophos pesticide residue.However,those produced from the organic litchi plantation authenticated by authoritative certification body did not have any pesticide residue.Production of organic L.chinensis has solved food safety problem and should be development trend of L.chinensis in the future.
