Curative effect of entecavir on chronic severe hepatitis

2015
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of entecavir on chronic severe hepatitis(CSH).Methods:A total of112 CSH patients were included in the study and randomized into the observation group and the control group. The patients in the control group were given liver-protecting tablets, compound glycyrrhizin, and reduced glutathione for liver protecting, enzyme reducing, jaundice removing, hepatocyte growth promoting, and nutrition support. On the basis of routine treatments, the patients in the observation group were orally given entecavir,0.5mg,once per day. After treatment for 6weeks,the changes of serum ALT,TBIL,and PTA,and serum HBV-DNA negative turning in the two groups were observed. Results:After treatment,ALT and TBIL in the two groups were significantly reduced compared with those before treatment, and the decreased degree in the observation group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P0.05);PTA in the two groups were significantly increased compared with that before treatment, and the increased degree in the observation group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P0.05);HBV-DNA negative turning in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group, and HBV-DNA negative turning number was gradually increasing with the timing(P0.05).Conclusions:Entecavir can effectively inhibit HBV duplication, improve liver function, and promote HBVDNA negative turning with a low clinical toxic and side effect and significant efficacy,so that it is a safe and effective anti-HBV drug.
