A caracterização do álbum fotográfico como recurso informacional

The photographic album and photography, its main element, present in their nature characteristics that represent certain situations full of information. The photographic album reveals itself as a commitment, a private or public desire to arrange memories in order to have a homogeneous and directed reading of the past. In this way, we investigate the characteristics of the photographic album, as an informational resource, and aims to list these characteristics in order to provide a greater basis for the process of organization and representation of the information contained in these albums. In this direction, this research uses the methodology of the bibliographic research, having the presumption to be exploratory and descriptive. In synthesis, when substantiating the elements that make up the photographic album, as an informational resource, one can perceive its essentiality linked to the represented subject, the archive, the narrative and the need to understand these elements, for a more complete informational treatment.
