Plagas, 21(1): 3-9. Aleurodicus dispersus Russell is a pest known in the Canary Islands from 1964. In 1970 caused serious damages in banana crops in Gran Canada, and in 1991 in several crops in Tenerife. Today this pest is considered of great economic importance.
