A side surface of the terminal is provided with a pressure sensing unit, wherein the side surface is a surface adjacent to the screen of the terminal. The method includes the following steps that: when the pressure sensing unit is utilized to acquire first touch control operation located on a sensing area, a function for adjusting the size of screen content is activated; after the function for adjusting the size of the screen content is activated, the pressure sensing unit is utilized to acquire touch control operation located on the sensing area; and the touch control operation is matched with a first preset touch control operation type, the screen content is zoomed in; when the touch control operation is matched with a second preset touch control operation type, the screen content is zoomed out.
