The Solution of Rarely-used Chinese Characters for the Construction of National 1∶50 000 Topographic Database

Some rarely-used Chinese characters in geographic names are often encountered in the construction of topographic database.How to input and display these characters is a difficult problem to database constructors.This article presented a thoroughly solution to the problem on the basis of the construction of national 1∶50 000topographic database.
