Pediatric Chest CT Diagnostic Reference Ranges: Development and Application

This study developed pediatric diagnostic reference ranges, or size-specific dose estimates, as a function of the size of the patient’s chest and presented a method to efficiently calculate reference pediatric chest CT size-specific dose estimates on the basis of the size-specific dose estimates for adults for each individual CT scanner at a site.
