Small Signal Stability Analysis of Wind Integrated Power Systems Based on SDEs with Random Coefficients and Excitations
2020
This paper proposes a method for analyzing the stochastic small signal stability of grid-connected wind power systems. Firstly, the power system with grid-connected stochastic wind generations is described as a class of Ito differential equations with random coefficients and excitations. Then, on the basis of linearized stochastic differential equations, the mean square stability is proposed to analyze the stochastic small signal stability with the help of the moment equations derived from Fokker-Planck equation. The simulation results of a single machine infinite bus (SMIB) system used as the test systems for this analysis demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.
