The importance of microclimate in grassland ecosystems

The primay work of microclimate in grasland ecosystems, which focuses on microlimate change and its relation with plants and animals by using microclimatology and ecology theories, began in the third quarter of this century. These researches not only enrich the ecology theory, but also have significance to the grassland production. Because this discipline is in this beginning in China there havn^t been many reports. The purpose of this paper is to review the importance of microclimate research in grassland ecosystems and promote this discipline forward in China.
