Management technology of petroleum exploration and production data element

ISO only provides data element registration in management of data element,it is difficult to meet the needs of practical application.A semantic-based framework is proposed for petroleum exploration and development data element management.Based on the semantics tree of data elements,three techniques are proposed such as data element quality control,data element classification scheme and data element search service.Above techniques were used successfully in SINOPEC for petroleum exploration and production data element management.
