Interference-Enhanced Optical Magnetism in High-Index Resonators
2020
In this paper we show that optical magnetism in high-index resonators can be enhanced by adding a highly reflective back mirror and this effect can be used to enable low-pump power ultrafast nonlinear optics as well as efficient directional surface plasmon wave couplers. Our results indicate that the interference-enhanced magnetism of high-index resonators offers the potential for applications in various linear and nonlinear photonic devices.
