Robust Visual Information Hiding Framework Based on HVS Pixel Adaptive LSB Replacement (HPALR) Technique

During the last decade internet activities and digital consumer devices have become an integral part of people’s lives, as a result access to digital information which is stored in electronic form has become much easier and is usually transferred using unrestricted electronic means. In this paper a robust visual information hiding scheme has been proposed regarding automated quality monitoring of multimedia content transmission in networking environment. In this system, information bit is embedded into the sub blocks of the host image by means of Pixel Adaptive LSB Replacement (PALR) procedure. The replacement method fully exploits the characteristics of HVS masking which ensure the visual quality of the image after information concealment. The watermark based authentication is done by making choice on majority of the extracted bits. Theoretical investigation of the projected framework confirms the efficiency of the technique in the average of worst case and reducing the figure of embedding error to the half and the experimental results applied on the different benchmark of well-known gray scale images are evaluated with earlier researches and was found better. Furthermore, this work proposes a new digital rights management scheme using a superior human visual system model which is intelligent enough to resist a variety of multimedia signal impairments including numerous geometrical distortions and results show that the intended approach obtains better result in comparison to the earlier works.
