Clinical Comparison and Analysis of LEEP Bistoury and Microwave on Chronic Cervicitis

Objective To investigate the clinical values and superiority of LEEP bistoury and microwave on the treatment of chronic cervicitis.Methods 156 cases with chronic cervicitis are divided into the LEEP group(82 cases) and the microwave group(74 cases).Both groups are treated with LEEP bistoury and microwave cautery.Observations are carried out about the clinical efficacy of both groups.Results The operation time,bleeding amount in surgery and the time post-operative vaginal discharge of the LEEP group were all lower than those of the microwave group(P0.05).There was no significant difference in the incurrence rate of post-operative bleeding in both groups(P0.05).And there was no significant difference in the cure rate of mild cervical erosion in both groups(P0.05).The cure rate of the LEEP group on severe cervical erosion was significantly higher than that of the microwave group(P0.05).Conclusion LEEP bistoury and microwave both have good clinical efficacy on the treatment of mild cervical erosion,while LEEP bistoury is better than microwave on the treatment of severe cervical erosion.
