A study of amenity lighting in outdoor areas

Outdoor amenity lighting should provide an attractive lit environment and a sense of well-being for pedestrians. This study looks mainly at pedestrian shopping areas and as a result of appraisals and measurements of real installations and a scale model, makes recommendations for effective amenity lighting.
