Head and neck surgical oncology training in the current era of molecular oncology.

Abstract Lack of regional confines limits surgical oncology training, which undoubtedly is an evolving sought-after surgical super speciality programme. Training and practice of region or domain-specific surgical oncology and the recent introduction and popularization of the concept of site-specific multidisciplinary clinics practised worldwide have provided the answer to this issue in a big way. Head and Neck Surgical oncology is one of the classic examples of such developed training pathways globally.
