Distribution of the main nutritional components in linseed

The fat,protein,linseed gum,lignan and dietary fiber were extracted from the whole linseed,dehulled linseed kernel and linseed hull,and the distribution of the main nutritional components in them were studied.The results showed that the ratio of linseed kernel to linseed hull was 54 ∶ 46;lignan,linseed gum and dietary fiber were contained in linseed hull;fat was mainly contained in linseed kernel and there was little difference of protein content in linseed kernel and linseed hull.Compared with the products made from the whole linseed,linseed kernel oil,linseed protein,linseed gum,lignan etc extracted from dehulled linseed kernel and linseed hull had better quality,and the latter technology had higher efficiency,lower cost and more economic benefits.
