Dealkylative functionalization of tertiary amines with electron deficient heteroaryl chlorides

The selective dealkylative arylation of trialkyl amines, N-alkyl pyrrolidines, N-alkyl piperidines and dialkyl anilines with electron deficient heteroaryl chlorides was investigated. Efficient and practical reaction conditions were determined for a range of substrates.
