Syntéza nových Pt komplexů obsahujících SnCl3 ligand

The subject of this bachelor thesis is a theoretical research on Pt complexes used in pharmacochemistry and a synthesis of new potentially biologically active Pt complexes containing trichlorostannyl ligands. Based on the literature review, it was found that one of the biggest limitations of cisplatin-based drugs is their limited solubility. Thus, the experimental part of the thesis focuses on the synthesis of new platinum complexes containing phosphine ligands including an NH functional group in order to increase solubility and cytotoxic activity by introducing a SnCl3 leaving group. The compounds prepared were characterized by 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy, melting points and subsequently their cytotoxic activity was tested.
