Method and system for recycling vanadium-containing mud generated in vanadium removal process of crude titanium tetrachloride

2014
The present invention provides an unrefined titanium tetrachloride produced in addition to recovering vanadium slurry and the vanadium recovery system. The vanadium-containing slurry liquid comprising titanium tetrachloride and VOCl2 solids, said method comprising the steps of: a vanadium-containing slurry was added to the molten furnace, to evaporate and collecting the vanadium-containing titanium tetrachloride in a slurry; to the vanadium-containing slurry and chlorine gas, chlorine gas to react with vanadium VOCl2 slurry to obtain a mixed gas containing chlorine gas and VOCl3; condensing the mixed gas, and the liquid chlorine obtained VOCl3; wherein said molten salt there furnace containing molten salt and the molten salt furnace temperature was maintained at 600 ~ 750 ℃. The recovery system for carrying out the method, which comprises molten furnace, supply pipe, a gas collecting unit of TiCl4 and a condenser. The present invention enables a disposable recovering valuable elements containing titanium and vanadium in the vanadium slurry and the vanadium and titanium of high yield, high purity obtained.
