RELAÇÃO PESO-COMPRIMENTO E FATOR DE CONDIÇÃO DE A styanax aff. paranae (pisces) EM CORPOS HÍDRICOS COM DIFERENTES NÍVEIS DE INTERFERÊNCIA ANTRÓPICA, NO CENTRO-OESTE DO PARANÁ LENGTH-WEIGHT RELATIONSHIP AND CONDITION FACTOR FOR Astyanax aff. paranae (pisces) IN WATER BODIES WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF ANTHROPOGENIC INTERFERENCE IN THE MIDWEST OF PARANÁ, BRAZIL

This study evaluated the variations in the relationship length-weight and condition factor (K) for ‘lambari’ Astyanax aff. paranae (Teleostei, Characidae) sampled in three sites with different levels of human interference in winter and in summer. Two of samples are from the Campo River, one sample is upstream of Campo Mourao, a city in the state of Parana, Brazil; the other is downstream of this city, all the samples have different forms of contamination. The third sampled point was the Concordia stream, in the Perobas Biological Reserve, between the cities of Tuneiras do Oeste and Cianort in the state of Parana, Brazil. This point was considerate a negative control. The length-weight relationship of specimens from winter was allometrically negative (b=2.95), while the Þ shes from summer had positive allometric growth (b=3.44).
