Lighting device plane

A device (1) of light comprising: - a source (3) of solid state light; - a carrier (2) on which said source (3) of solid state light is arranged, said carrier (2) having a relatively large front side compared to the side edge, such that an amount of heat generated by the source (3) light is transmitted in the carrier (2); - the source (3) of solid state light is disposed on the front side of the carrier (2), - a member (5a, 5b) covering arranged on the carrier (2) and disposed in the same plane as the carrier ( 2), so that the source (3) of light is disposed between the carrier (2) and a part of light transmission member (5a, 5b) covering the transmission portion of light that is arranged opposite the source (3) of solid state light and which is functional to emit light through said transmitting portion of light, so that there is a thermal interface between the carrier (2) and the member (5a, 5b) cover , said member (5a, 5b) housing having an outer surface which is a portion of the exterior of the device (1) of lighting and having a surface (11) inside which is opposite to the outer surface and is in thermal contact with the front side of the carrier (11), so that the thermal interface is formed, - a member (6) of connection n has a fixed position relative to the carrier (2) for connecting mechanically and electrically the device (1) light to an outlet, wherein - said support member (5a, 5b) housing, said transmit portion light and said member (6) connecting provide complete outer surface of the device (1) light together enclosing the carrier (2) and the source (3) of light - the thermal interface is arranged to transmit through the same most of the heat transmitted into the carrier (2) from the source (3) of light, and - the part of light transmission member (5a, 5b) covering comprising an optical structure adapted to direct the light emitted from the source (3) of solid state light outside the device (1) lighting.
