Beam-Steering Features of Radio-over-Fiber Systems via Antenna Array Time Modulation

An efficient solution capable to meet the growing wireless traffic demand, particularly within in-building scenarios, is here proposed. The system matches the Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) and the Time Modulated Array (TMA) technologies, in order to achieve a capillary distribution of the radio antenna units while being able to perform an efficient beamforming to improve the wireless coverage efficiency.
