Electron Microscopy of Incommensurate Structures

Some of the different electron microscopy techniques useful for the study of incommensurate modulated structures are briefly discussed and applied to two different systems: the incommensurate phase in barium sodium niobate and the long period superstructures in Cu3Pd.
