Motility Disorders: Medical Modalities

Disorders of esophageal motility are categorized based on high-resolution manometry with color pressure topography plots according to version 3.0 of the Chicago Classification. There are three defined tiers of dysmotility, including disorders of esophagogastric junction outflow, other major disorders of peristalsis, and minor disorders of peristalsis.
