The relationship of age and parity with the level of stress faced labor in pregnant women 28-40 weeks gestation in the womb poly Dr.Soegiri Lamongan District Hospital Supervisor (1) HenyEkawati, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes supervising (2) Hj.Tarmi, S.ST., S.Psi., Kes. Stress is a response experienced labor mothers are facing labor made possible by the feeling of fear for labor, especially first-time mothers pregnant primigravidae. Based on the initial survey conducted by researchers obtained the data of 60% of pregnant women experience stress. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between age and parity with the level of stress faced labor in pregnant women age 28-40 weeks. Analytical research design correlation with cross sectional approach with simple random sampling method. A population of 42 pregnant women with a sample of 38 pregnant women. Setres level measured with questionnaires distributed to pregnant women. Data Editing, Coding, Scoring, Tabulating then analyzed using SPSS for Windows version 16.0. The results showed that most or 50% of women aged 20-30 years experiencing stress, most or 57.9% of mothers of children birth to 1 stress. The test results obtained spearmen rank correlation coefficient 0.411 with 0.001 significance (p <0.05) means that there is relationship of age to the level of stress in pregnant women age 28-40 weeks and the correlation coefficient 0406 with 0.001 significance (p <0.05) means no parity relationship with the level of stress in pregnant women age 28-40 weeks. Efforts should be made to cope with stress in the mother facing labor among others: proceed with care and knowledge of the mother would be the mother's health during pregnancy.
