Dermopatia por hydroxiurea

Hydroxyurea is coinmonly used in the treatment of myeloproliferative syndromes. A unique lichenoid eruption acral in location has followed long-term administration of the drug. We repon a new case of hydroxyurea dennopathy observed in a 51 year old woman with chronic myelogenous leukemia. The cutaneous lesions vanished as the drug was stcpped. 5km changes secondary to hydroxyurea therapy are considered rare. However, these lesions niay be more conimon than they are usually believed.
