Histoplasmosis adrenal: un desafío diagnóstico

The development of high definition imaging studies has allowed the diagnosis of non-clinically suspected lesions, being the adrenal incidentalomas a paradigm of these entities.A case of a 59-year-old man with a unilateral adrenal incidentaloma secondary to disseminated histoplasmosis was presented.Histoplasmosis represents an endemic disease. The diagnosis of adrenal fungal infections is a clinical challenge that requires a high index of suspicion, specially in asymptomatic and immunocompetent patients.
