Características de un compost elaborado con lodos anaerobios de depuradora como substrato para plantón forestal

2000
Keeping in mind the high economic and ecological value of the materials usually used to elaborate substrates for the production of plants in nurseries, from 1992 has been characterised and carried out agronomic rehearsals in commercial nurseries with alternative residual materials such as the dried anaerobic sewage sludge from the purification of residual waters and other organic wastes in binary or ternary mixtures, checking that these materials can replace until 50% of the peat content in a common subtrate used in Spanis nurseries without decrease in the quality of the ornamental plants produced. The results have induced us to prove the aerobic compost of a mixture of 2 parts in volume of grape marc residues and 1 part in volume of anaerobic sewage sludge from the purification of residual waters, as a substrate for the production in nurseries of forest plants. We expose in this work the methodology for their elaboration to scale pilot, and the results of their chemical, physicochemical and hydrophysical characterisation
