Aims-To determine theprevalence of lymphoidfollicles inHelicobacter pylori positive andnegative gastritis inantral andbodytypegastric mucosainpatients withnon-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD),duodenalulcer, orgastric ulcer; tocorrelate follicle presence withpatient age;toevaluatethecorrelation betweentheprevalence oflymphoidfollicles andactive andinactive gastritis anditsseverity; and toassessthepositive predictive valueof lymphoid follicle prevalence withrespect toH pyloni infection.
