Long-distance geomagetic navigation based on the simulation of Animals' migration

The methods and mechanisms behind Animals' cross-continental migration is still a mystery up to now. Researchers from different backgrounds have done large amounts of work trying to throw light on this puzzle. In this work, methods different from all the previous researches are used to investigate animal navigation. Combined with natural cues that animals rely on, a navigation algorithm based on geomagnetic spatial angle is proposed to simulate animals' navigation behaviors. Our results not only match existing observation reports, but are also able to explain some conflicting evidences on the role of geomagnetic field in animal navigation.
