A broadband efficient laser amplification device applicable to short-pulse laser comprises a first grating, a second grating, a batten gain medium, a laser diode array, a right-angle mirror lens and a total reflective mirror and is characterized in that the grating pair or a prism equivalent dispersion device is utilized to conduct space widening on pulse laser, and the pulse laser is amplified through a batten-shaped laser amplification device or an optical parametric amplification device. The broadband efficient laser amplification device can simultaneously conduct widening and amplification on the short-pulse laser in time and space and has the advantages of being good in cooling effect, high in amplification efficiency, wide in gain band, high in contrast ratio and the like.
