Back ground) Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA) has been recently proposed as an independent risk factor for chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD is closely associated with OSA. L-type fatty acid-binding protein (L-FABP) are novel biomarkers for the earlier detection of latent kidney disease.
