Browsing system and method based on smart cards, as well as the application of smart cards

The present invention provides a smart card-based browsing system and a method thereof, and a smart card applied thereto. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce sockets for HTTP requests and responses which were necessary as many as the number of service target contents between a smart card and a user terminal, by mounting the browser in the smart card so that a direct access path may be formed with a smart card web server (SCWS) equipped in the smart card. Therefore, the invention provides the smooth services through a fast and efficient interface. Further, regardless of whether the browser is embedded in the user terminal and of a type and the version of the browser, the invention provides the web services to various multimedia devices which are compatible with the smart card.
