2011
Summary of findings We intend to use the principles of the Grading of Recommen-dations, Assessment,DevelopmentandEvaulation (GRADE) ap-proachtoassessthequalityofthebodyofevidenceassociatedwithspecific outcomes and construct a Summary of Findings (SoF)(Schunemann 2008). The GRADE approach appraises the qual-ity of a body of evidence based on the extent to which one can beconfident thatan estimate ofeffector association reflectstheitembeingassessed. Thequality ofabody ofevidence considerswithinstudy riskof bias (methodologic quality), thedirectness of theev-idence,heterogeneityofthedata,precision ofeffectestimatesandrisk of publication bias.
