Effects of Chinese Chives' Continuous Cropping on Microbial Quantity and Enzymes Activities in the Soil of Big Cote
2010
The effects of continuous cropping ages on production and quality of Chinese Chives, microbial quantity and enzyme activities in soil were investigated through Fixed-point test. The results showed as follows.Production and quality of Chinese Chives' yield got decreased and its quality got worse by continuous cropping. The quantity of fungi, actinomycetes and total microbes decreased, while that of bacteria dramatically increased by continuous cropping. With the increase of years of continuous cropping, the activities of urase, invertase and phosphatase in soil improved, while the activities of catalase, polyphenoloxidase and peroxide enzyme in soil decreased.
