Advances in study on antarctic ice nucleation active organisms

Ice nucleation active(INA) organisms are one of hot topics in biological technique fields,and exhibit much application and development prospects in the fields of industry,agriculture,medicine,physical culture,etc.The study on Antarctic INA organisms is very beginning.In this article,author reviews simply the species,distribution and the primary study on INA substances,etc.Comparing with the study on temperature INA substances,Antarctic INA substances are higher activity,faster production velocity,higher content,higher biological security and partial INA organisms are colonized in insects easily.Therefore,more study on Antarctic INA organisms will exploit their application extensively.
