Ni-modified MoS2 nanoflake arrays with stepped sites on carbon nanotubes for efficient hydrodesulfurization of coal-to-liquid fuel

CNTs supported Ni-modified MoS2 catalysts with ultra-high loading amount and controlled morphology of nanoflake arrays abundant with stepped sites were synthesized with the assistance of citric acid, which favored hydrogenation desulfurization pathway of dibenzothiophene and exhibited ultra-deep hydrodesulfurization performance and stability for model oil and coal-to-liquid fuel.
